We are in receipt of your favours of the 8th. and 21st. instant to our Senior, relative to a consignment to our firm of 3 Cases of Revolvers marked and Co and stated to

be intended for the 1st. Chinese Regiment at Weihaiwel, and in reply regret to say that we can give you no further information than is afforded by the copies of letters from Messrs. Henry Birdseye and Company and the Webley and Scott Revolver and Arms Company, which we have the pleasure to enclose.
